SLAM’s Avery Appointed as CREW CT National Delegate

Glastonbury, Conn., Feb. 22, 2017 — The Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network recently announced the appointment of The S/L/A/M Collaborative’s (SLAM) Principal and Interior Architecture Practice Leader, Monika Avery, IIDA, LEED AP, NCIDQ, BD+C as Connecticut’s delegate to CREW National.

Founded in 1989, CREW’s mission is to influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women. With over 70 chapters across the globe, CREW provides support to members through business development, leadership development, industry research, and career outreach. Ms. Avery has been an active member of the CREW Network for over 15 years and has served as a member of the Board of Directors and President of the CREW CT chapter.

Over her career, Ms. Avery has demonstrated a passion for high quality design and commercial real estate, specializing in workplace environments. She has led the design of many major workplace projects in various market sectors, including professional service firms, research & development, science & technology, manufacturing, and higher education.
