Teen Charged For Car Theft In Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Waterbury teen, already in custody on other offenses, has been charged for stealing a car in Glastonbury, police said.

Rafael Rivera, 18, has been charged on a warrant with larceny of a motor vehicle (second offense) and a related conspiracy, second-degree criminal trover, illegally taking a payment card and conspiracy to commit less that $500 on a revoked payment card.

The local charges stem from the theft of a vehicle from A South Glastonbury residence in March.

His bond was set at $30,000.
