Thursday Evening Lecture Series presented by The Astrological Society of Connecticut: January 21, 2016
Join us Thursday, Jan 21st! Being & Becoming: The Tantra of Astrology & Yoga, with Twink McKenney. 200 Main St, Wethersfield.
In Yogic traditions, an abiding intelligence pervades and organizes all forms of life. Our astrological charts provide penetrating insights into the role we each play: our dharma. Yoga offers specific techniques to “yoke” the parts of the chart and navigate planetary weather. Please join us as Twink McKenney discusses this topic on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 7:00 PM. A beginners pre-lecture introduction will begin at 6:15 PM. During the 6:15 introduction, a senior member of the ASC will present terms, concepts, and basic topics likely to be encountered in the 7 o’clock lecture to help beginners build a solid astrological foundation.
Free for ASC members, $10 lecture fee for non-members, $5 pre-lecture fee for non-members. Half price for students with valid ID . Non-member fee may be applied toward membership

About the presenter: Twink McKenney has been studying astrology and yoga for over 30 years. She is past VP of the Berkshire/Fairfield chapter of NCGR and served on the board of the Organization for Professional Astrology. In addition to astrological consultations, she creates personal yoga nidras based on individual charts.
