In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, here’s a list of what’s open and what’s closed in the Town of Glastonbury.
Glastonbury Town Hall
All offices are closed.

Trash pickup
- Bulky Waste Facility
- Transfer Station (normally closed on Mondays).

Schools
All Glastonbury Public Schools are closed.
Libraries
The Welles-Turner Library will be closed.
CT DMV
Department of Motor Vehicles major customer service offices will close for the Martin Luther King Day holiday on Friday, Jan. 16, at 12:30 p.m. and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7:45 a.m.
Major DMV service offices will be open on Thursday until 5:30 p.m. All AAA offices will be open to process renewals for driver licenses and non-driver ID cards during their normal business hours.
Banks
All banks in Connecticut will be closed.
Stock Markets
The stock markets will be closed.
Postal Service
There is no mail delivery and post offices are closed.
