Woman Accused of Hurling Coffee and Slurs Gets Bias Charge

A Middletown woman is facing a bias charge after allegedly throwing coffee and slurs at another person in Glastonbury.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A woman was charged with racial bias intimidation after she allegedly threw coffee and directed slurs at another person during an incident in Glastonbury, police said.

Bridget Dangelis, 39, was arrested on Aug. 8, posted a $10,000 bond and is due in court on Aug. 22, according to a police report.

She knew the person from a disagreement a week earlier, police said.

She was charged with second-degree intimidation based on bigotry or bias, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief, according to a report.
