Woman Killed in Head-On Crash in Glastonbury
Two cars collided head-on while traveling on Route 17 in Glastonbury.
GLASTONBURY, CT — State police have identified the person killed in a Friday morning crash on Route 17 as a 76-year-old from Dennis, MA.
Nancy Woodworth was killed when her 2013 Buick Verano collided head-on with a 2005 Acura MDX at 10:40 a.m., according to a state police crash report.
The driver of the Acura, 42-year-old Cuong Kim TRan, of Springfield, MA, was taken to Hartford Hospital via ambulance with suspected minor injuries, according to a crash report.

The cars were headed in unknown directions when they collided, state police said. The cause of the crash is still under investigation and any witnesses are being asked to call state police at 860-534-1000.
