You will pra practice a special Vata, or air and ether, appropriate yoga sequence great for all levels. After the 75 minute class, we will embark on a 45 minute introductory lect lecture on the basics of Ayurveda. Not to be missed!
When When we are cold, we put on a sweater. When we are dry, we moisturize our skin. Ayurveda is just just that simple. In Ayurveda, the ancient, Indian medicinal science that is considered the sister to yogtto yoga, we balance with opposites and know that “like increases like”. In this exploration of the qu qualities of everything, we don’t forget about yoga. Different yoga practices have different qual qualities to them just like different seasons do. It only makes sense that depending on the time of day, time of year, and state of being, our yoga practice should change. During the fall and winter, the ele the elements of Ether and Air predominate. The season is considered dry, rough, mobile, cold, subtle subtle and dry in Ayurveda. Our yoga practice, so as not to exacerbate these qualities, should offer u offer us the opposite bhav, or feel.
