• Granby’s Ancient Oak Gets New Protection (patch.com) — Granby residents and the Granby Land Trust have teamed up to give the iconic Dewey-Granby Oak new protections, from root-saving boulders to invasive plant removal. Local arborists and neighbors improved safety and access at the Day Street property, aiming to preserve this 500-year-old symbol of Granby’s identity and one of Connecticut’s most treasured trees.
