Orchestra director and strings teacher Jessica Foskitt was named Teacher of the Year for expanding the strings program across Granby schools, while Family Engagement Specialist Bethany Grupp was recognized for supporting Open Choice families and strengthening connections within the Granby school community.

No problem for this CT high school team (courant.com) — A dramatic field hockey showdown in Granby saw Simsbury erase a 4–0 deficit to stun previously undefeated Granby 5–4 in overtime, scoring four goals in just over eight minutes. The game, a rematch of last year's Granby overtime win, highlighted Granby's strength while showcasing Simsbury's resilience and standout performances from several key players.
