The East Granby Public Library launches its annual Juried Art Show with an opening reception and awards presentation on Saturday, January 26th from 7:00-9:00PM. The reception will include music by Judy Handler and Mark Levesque and light refreshments will be served.
The show runs during normal Library hours through March 2nd.
This year’s juror is Melanie Carr; a sculptor who recently received her MFA from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in 2011. Her national exhibits include The Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts in Wilmington, NY and the Boston Public Library and her work can also be seen in collections such as The New Britain Museum of American Art, CT, where she is on staff and organizes the New Media exhibition program.

Numerous cash prizes will be awarded for various media and age groups.
