Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation's wildly popular "Dog Days of Summer" program offers a unique summertime learning experience in a fun, safe setting!  These half-day, week-long programs are designed for kids aged 8 to 12 and offer hands-on opportunities to learn about: -Guide Dogs and people with visual disabilities -Dog grooming, nutrition and health care -Community involvement Program highlights include blindfold walks; demonstrations by Police K9 teams, Search &amp; Rescue and Agility &amp; Obedience competition dogs; and visits with our incredibly cute German Shepherd puppies! "Dog Days of Summer" happens at Fidelco's headquarters at 103 Vision Way (formerly Old Iron Ore Road) in Bloomfield, CT.
