Biennial quilt show featuring over 300 quilts by both members and non-members. In addition to the beautiful quilts on exhibit there are a variety of special features including:
· Special World War II quilt exhibit from Sue Reich’s collection (25-30 quilts made during World War II with lots of info and background on the quilts and the quilt makers)
· Raffle Baskets – There will be themed baskets full of goodies raffled off to support charitable causes.
· Vendors – We will have over 20 vendors displaying their wares.
· Mini-Quilt sale – A variety of small and mini-quilts featuring traditional and contemporary designs will be available for purchase along with a few related items. Check out the photos on the quilt show page to see some examples.
· Show Us Your Bags! – A silent auction of “Bags.” Everyone attending will be able to bid on these purses, clutches, satchels and handbags. The winners will be announced at the end of the show on Sunday. Bid as often as you’d like to make sure you win the “Bag” of your choice.
· Viewer’s Choice Quilt Challenge – The 2013 Viewer’s Choice theme is “Animals”. The winner will be chosen on Sunday at 2pm by a tally of viewer ballots. Ribbons will be awarded
· Demonstrations – HAVQG members and show vendors will offer live demonstrations will run throughout both days of the show at no additional charge. Learn a new technique, see the latest products, and find an answer the question, “How did they do that?”
· Food – Food concessions are located in the building outside of the show area during the show’s hours.
· Quilt Appraisal – A certified quilt appraiser will be conducting quilt appraisals during the show. Appraisals are done by appointment and can be scheduled using the form on the show website (http://handsacrossthevalley.org/quilt-show/).

$2.00 Children 6-12
(Children 5 and under are free)
$4.00 Students and military (must show ID)
