Home Energy Solutions Presentation at Bloomfield Library

On Thursday, January 24, the Clean Energy Communities program, in partnership with Energize Connecticut, will host an information session on Home Energy Solutions – an in-home services program. For a small co-pay, licensed technicians will pinpoint where energy is being wasted in the home and install an average of $700 of energy-saving products and weatherization services that can help homeowners and renters lower their utility bills an average of $200 annually.

The free informational session is open to the public and will be held from 6pm to 7pm at the P. Faith McMahon Wintonbury Library at 1015 Blue Hills Avenue in Bloomfield.

The presentation will be led by representatives from New Britain-based Victory Energy Solutions, a company that specializes in energy assessments. Experts will discuss energy-saving changes residents can make to help reduce energy use and lower utility bills, including installing adequate insulation and how to prevent damaging ice dams.
