Calling all Connecticut Kids!
All kids age 12 and under are invited to take part in the Kids for the Cure T-Shirt Design Contest for the 20th Annual Komen Connecticut Race for the Cure! Participants must submit original artwork about the Race for the Cure and breast cancer. The winning design will be featured on all Kids for the Cure Race t-shirts at the event on Saturday, June 1st! Deadline for submissions is April 15, 2013.
Guidelines for all entries:
Design must incorporate the Komen pink ribbon somewhere in the art Artwork must be submitted on 8.5” x 11” white paperstock Bright colors work best Please use markers. Crayons and colored pencils are not recommended as they do not transfer well onto shirts.

On the back of the artwork, please clearly print the following:
- the name of the designer
- age
- name of school
- grade of the designer
- home address
- parent or guardian name
- contact telephone number
All entries must be submitted by April 15th to the Connecticut Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure:
