Team Up Now for the NAMIWalk!

If you’d like a chance to win a Wii game system and three games, you should register now as a team captain for the 10th anniversary NAMIWalk.

Go to www.namiwalks.org/connecticut, collect a minimum donation of $30 to start, RSVP to the Team Captain Kick Off party by March 18 and come to the Kick Off on Saturday, March 23.

Your support of the Walk, which will be held in Hartford’s  Bushnell Park on Saturday, May 18, will go a long way to helping the Connecticut chapter of the National Alliance for Mental Illness provide the free support groups and educational programs we deliver to more than $8,000 people people each year.

Not to mention, you will be helping to fight the stigma of mental illness, and now is a critical time for those of us who live with a mental illness that there is no more shame in that than living with diabetes or heart disease.
