The Village at McLean Presents Senior Wisdom Series

The Village at McLean will again be offering its popular Senior Wisdom series, designed to help you plan for the retirement lifestyle you’ve always dreamed of. The presentations are FREE, and will be offered on the following Mondays from 1-2:30 PM at The Village at McLean, Burkholder Community Center, 100 Sarah Lane, Simsbury. February 4th – Heirloom Discoveries – Linda Stamm, Owner, Winter Associates - The first 15 people who register for this presentation may bring one item (no gems, military artifacts, coins, stamps, or books) that Linda will appraise. Information on what we own is important when we begin planning distribution of our estate, or just need to know how to downsize. Seating is limited.

February 11th - The Senior Living Alphabet - what are all the options for seniors, what you need in the future and what you can afford - Freddi Hoffmann, VP Marketing, Sales & New Business, McLean - A frank discussion on the differences in services and fees structure between various types of senior housing and communities - independent, CCRC, life care, 55+, senior housing, skilled home care, companions, and assisted living. Understand what you may need, what you may be able to afford, and how to plan now for the future.

February 25th - Estate Planning as You Consider Moving to a Senior Community or Moving A Loved One to Assisted Living - Sharon L.
