Blessing of the Mounts

Granny Toogns, Neighbor

The Granby Horse Council will begin the trail riding season with the annual Blessing of the Mounts. Council members and their horses will gather at the Holcomb Farm riding ring, rain or shine. Pastor Ginny McDaniel of the First Congregational Church in North Granby will bestow the blessing for safe travel for horses and riders.
The public is invited to observe and take photographs at no charge. Twenty-five to thirty horses of all types and colors are expected.
