Granby Little League too expensive!!
It's insane how much it cost for your children to play baseball in Granby! How can they justify?
Hi, I live in Granby and I have 2 boys 12 and 13. They can not play Granby Little League this year. The cost is absoulutly crazy $195 and $175 for the youngest! I have checked surrounding towns for New Hartford to Enfield and all in between. Granby is the most expensive! Even with the $40 you get back if you volunteer for field prep. Why is it so expensive? The web site says all volunteer. The board gets some I guess but come on. The web site also says there are 300+ kids. So if you say 300 kids x 195 is about $63000 and who knows how much the + stands for. Please tell me why so much money and why is Granby so off the charts with this price compared to all other towns? Taxes are high enough! No one is going to afford to live in this town. No wonder so many houses are for sale.
