Sunday Music at the Library!

Sunday afternoon free programs at Granby Public Library & Cossitt Library

Like a stroll through the park -- which is impossible nowadays with snow and ice -- Sunday afternoons at Granby Public Library are now open for business, 1:00pm to 4:00pm!

Through the generosity of the Friends of Granby Public and the Friends of Cossitt, we are lining up a roster of Sunday events that may make your heart beat a little faster and put a smile on your face:

January 13 at 1:30pm:  CT children's author, Janet Lawler, is a guest storyteller featuring her new book, "Snowzilla!" (please pre-register for this program).

January 20, 2-3pm:  The musical duo Judy Handler & Mark Levesque will be our afternoon feature, combining the lively beat of Brazilian jazz, swing, classical and folk in our cafe-style setting, with free coffee/tea!

January 27, 2-3:30pm:  Jennifer Zinck of Ancestry Central returns with another Beginner's Genealogy program, followed by an Advanced Beginners program on Feb. 3 and a special program on DNA research on March 3 (same time; Town Hall Meeting Room).  Registration is required for these programs.
