Valentine’s Day, Another Perspective

How about Valentine's Day be a day where we search our hearts and souls for the love we have for our friends, our family, our selves, our coworkers, our neighbors.

Valentines Day has been an excellent way for couples to show and express their love to each other and of course is a good way for businesses to make money, but for those who are single it can be a very depressing day.

You don’t have to be in a romantic relationship to be in love or to love your self. There are many people who choose to be single and to be in love with their work, their hobbies, nature and much more.

How about Valentine’s Day be a day where we search our hearts and souls for the love we have for our friends, our family, our selves, our coworkers, our neighbors, or even the  simple things such as good food or coming home from work after a long day. How about Valentine’s Day be a reminder to lend a hand, give a gift, say a kind word or give a loving smile to a friend, family member, coworker, or the lonely old timer in your neighborhood. You never know how your smile, kind word, or simple help can effect a life, bring someone joy and comfort and lighten up someone’s heart, even if it’s just a stranger you pass by at the super market.
