The summer has flown by and this Tuesday, September 10th, will be the closing day for the Granby Farmers’ Market. We have had a great season this year. Our vendors have provided us with such a variety of wonderful local foods and we thank them for all their hard work this season. We also extend a special thank you to all of our sponsors, Simsbury Bank, Horses and Hounds, and Granby Pharmacy.
Each week, at the Farmington Valley YMCA the Granby Farmers’ Market has strived to create a unique community event with local entertainment, family activities, cooking demonstrations, and participation from local organizations and businesses. The YMCA Teen Leaders, From the Ground Up, have also made an exceptional contribution to the market with their community gardens.
The Granby Farmers’ Market thanks all of our patrons who come out each week to support our farmers. So, come and join us for our final market day, our vendors will have delicious local fare and Anne De Michiela will return to entertain us.
