East Granby Historical Society meeting and "Donkey" program

Food, Annual Meeting and Donkey Program

Everyone is asked to kindly bring either an appetizer or dessert to share.  We will start nibbling at 6:30pm followed by the Annual Meeting about 7:00, followed by East Granby farmer Brad Nicholson talking with us about his business of training donkeys.  He will explain the differences between horses, mules and donkeys and why mules have special desirable advantages.  The Nicholson farm is the oldest continuously operated farm in East Granby.  We will end the evening with desserts.  The public is welcome to attend.
