East Granby Land Trust Celebrates 40th Anniversary November 7th @ 7:00 p.m.
University of Connecticut Geology Professor, Hartford Courant columnist and author Robert Thorson will be the key speaker at our annual meeting celebrating 40 years of land conservation in East Granby. Professor Thorson is the author of Stone by Stone: The Magnificent History in New England’s Stone Walls; Beyond Walden: The Hidden History of America’s Kettle Lakes and Ponds; and his latest book, Walden’s Shore: Henry David Thoreau and Nineteenth-Century Science. Please come join us at the Community/Senior Center to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Light refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
