East Granby Retailer Continues Hot Streak Of Big CT Lottery Winners
A Route 20 gas station and convenience store has sold three big winners in various CT Lottery games since mid-August.

EAST GRANBY, CT — For the third time in five weeks, a gas station and convenience store on Route 20 has sold a big winning CT Lottery ticket. For the second time in that span, the lucky winner claimed a 6-figure prize.
A player from Vernon who opted to remain anonymous won the top prize of $100,000 on a Cash5 ticket purchased at the Phillips 66 station near Bradley International Airport. The winnings were claimed Thursday, according to the CT Lottery website.
Cash5 is a pari-mutuel game with drawings occurring nightly around 10:29 p.m. Wagering closes at 10:20 p.m. and reopens at 10:46 p.m.

Cash5 costs $1 per wager, with a "KICKER" option for an additional 50 cents per wager to increase chances to win more often and win more prize levels.
The Phillips 66 station has been the source of great luck for players recently. In mid-August, a Northfield resident won a jackpot of $154,183 on a Fast Play - $5 Moneybags Progressive ticket. In early September, a resident of Windsor turned a $10 investment in a Hot Millions scratch ticket into a bonanza of $25,000.
