Wildfire Farms Equine Rescue hosted their first open barn farm fun day on Saturday, May 19.

The newly formed non-profit is dedicated to the compassionate care of equines in need and restoring horsemanship, the heritage and humane treatment of the horse.

The event was blessed with wonderful weather and many generous people that enjoy great food, games, demonstrations and the company of horses. The rescue, located in East Granby, has several horses, like Daisy pictured here with the Wildfire team, that are ready and waiting for their forever homes.
