East Granby Special Town Meeting Scheduled for March 22
Three items of business are under consideration.

The following is a press release from the Town of East Granby
There will be a Special Town Meeting of the Town of East Granby to be held in the East Granby Senior/Community Center on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 7:30 pm.
The Town Meeting will consider accepting the Bramblebush and East Granby Meadows developments as town sewers along with acceptance of a sewer line easement from East Granby Meadows.

Additional business will be to consider and act upon approving the sale of surplus fire equipment with the proceeds to be used to purchase a 1986 E-One Pumper for a sum not to exceed $23,000. Any proceeds in excess of $23,000 from the sale of the surplus equipment is to be returned to the General Fund.
The last item to be considered will be the appropriation of a sum not to exceed $10,000 from the Town Open Space Fund for removal of un-safe hanging tree limbs over the pedestrian Greenway. Any unused funds are to be returned to the Open Space Fund.
