CPR Anytime for Women

The American Heart Association, in collaboration with the Granby Public Library and the Granby Senior Center, will offer a free CPR Anytime training workshop for women at the Granby Senior Center on Thursday June 9 from 1:00-2:00pm.

Women of any age are invited to attend this interactive workshop to learn basic CPR, receive important information about prevention, and learn about important risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Though most cardiac arrests occur at home, they can happen to anyone, anywhere and at any time. CPR is a basic lifesaving skill that could help save the life of a family member, friend, co-worker or bystander. Community-based CPR training events are designed to increase awareness about the importance of CPR training and to support the American Heart Association's national effort to strengthen the "chain of survival" when someone experiences sudden cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke or other medical emergency.
