East Granby Community Budget Forum

The East Granby Community is given this opportunity to find out more information regarding the Town Budget and the Budget process at the beginning of the Budget Season. The East Granby Board of Education cordially invites the public to join them and representatives from the Board of Finance and the Board of Selectman at the 2013 Community Forum scheduled for Thursday, January 31st at 7 pm at the East Granby Senior Community Center. The Board of Education along with the other boards will discuss the process used to develop the upcoming operational budget. There will be a general discussion of budgets. Please note that the Board of Finance (BOF) will present specific financial guidance to the Board of Education (BOE) and Board of Selectman (BOS) at the February 13th BOF meeting and the respective boards will present their budgets to the BOF on March 12th. On March 26th, the BOF will finalize direction to the boards for presentation at a Public Hearing to be held on April 9th.
