Good Company Theater Presents "Oliver!"

Good Company Theater presents “OLIVER!”  The Musical


 


Good Company Theater is proud to present the musical “Oliver!” Book, Music and Lyrics by Lionel Bart, adapted from the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens.  Nikki Currie-Huggard, Resident Artistic Director, is back to  showcase over 80 cast members from Granby and surrounding towns in this beloved musical. Oliver will be produced by Ruthie Babich, with musical direction by Kevin Barlowski, set design by Jennifer Moreau and choreography by Coreen Thompson. Assistant Director is Cortney Turner.

This is Good Company Theater’s 5th musical production. Previous musical performances include “Godspell” in 2009, followed by “Annie”, “The Last Five Years”, and “Abracadabra”.  The not-for profit theater group, an intergenerational organization, was designed to create and produce confident and quality theater for the enrichment, education and entertainment of the community.


All shows will be held at South Congregational Church Fellowship Hall, 242 Salmon Brook St., Granby, CT. Show dates are as follows:

Friday Evening March 29 and Saturday March 30, Afternoon and Evening


Thursday Evening April 4 and Friday Evening April 5 


Saturday April 6, Afternoon and Evening

All evening performances will begin at 7:00 p.m.; afternoon performances will start at 2:00 p.m.


Tickets may be purchased at Granby Pharmacy, 9 Hartford Avenue in Granby or online at www.goodcompanytheaterct.org.


Ticket prices in advance are $18.00;   $15 for Seniors and Students, and $20.00 at the door.  Advance ticket purchases are highly recommended as we are anticipating sellout performances!!!


During intermission, refreshments will be offered along with the sale of homemade lavender, peppermint or citrus lip balm by the South Church youth at $5 a tin.  All proceeds during intermission will benefit Appalachian Service Project and Heads Up Hartford youth missions.
