Groundbreaking for East Granby Elementary School Project Set for Oct. 25

The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a 11,000-square-foot addition to East Granby's Seymour School will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

The public is invited.

Seymour School is located at 185 Hartford Ave. in East Granby. The addition and complete renovation "as new" of Seymour School is anticipated to be completed in early 2013. The addition and renovation at Seymour plus some capital projects at Allgrove Elementary School are part of an $11.8 million dollar Elementary School upgrade plan.
