Ice Harvest

The Suffield Land Conservancy, in cooperation with the Suffield Historical Society and the Noble & Cooley Center for Historic Preservation, will organize another ice harvest at the Noble & Cooley Mill Pond in Granville, MA, on Saturday, February 5, 2011. Visitors may participate anytime between noon and 3 p.m., and a video on ice harvesting in New England will also be shown continuously in the Noble & Cooley Museum.

 The Noble & Cooley Museum building will be open for warm-ups and refreshments during the harvest. The event is free and open to the public but any donations will be gratefully accepted.
