He's one win away from playing The Masters (courant.com) — Granby resident and Granby High golf alum Keven Slyne has earned a spot in the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, putting him one win away from invitations to both The Masters and the U.S. Open. Balancing two jobs, including work for Granby Public Works, he's built his unconventional, no-frills golf style on local courses and state tournaments.
