MeadowBrook of Granby Hosting Protect Your Assets Through Estate Planning Seminar with Attorney George Bickford on November 13th.

MeadowBrook of Granby in conjunction with Attorney George Bickford will be hosting a free seminar on estate planning, asset protection and Title XIX issues that are part of long term care planning.  This seminar will teach you what you need to do in order to maintain your assets for yourself and your family.   The time to make those decisions is now before you are in a crisis situation.

George B. Bickford is a graduate of Harvard University, and the University Of Connecticut School Of Law.  He opened this office as a solo practitioner in 1992.  For many years, Attorney Bickford has been a highly acclaimed guest speaker before bar, medical, social service and public groups on Social Security issues, Medicaid, and Estate Planning for the elderly with long term medical needs.  He has served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter, for which he provides informal counsel and assistance.  He is also an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is the co-chair of the Elder Law Section of the Hartford County Bar Association.  Attorney Bickford began his practice in 1974 at Neighborhood Legal Services, Inc., where he was the director of the Senior Citizen's Law Project for North Central Connecticut and was a pioneer in the practice of elder law in Connecticut.
