High blood pressure has no symptoms, and if left untreated, can cause serious damage to many of the body's organs and may lead to stroke, heart attack, or kidney damage. The Farmington Valley VNA's free blood pressure screenings are available to anyone in general, those at risk for high blood pressure, and anyone currently taking medication. A Registered Nurse will check blood pressure, record the reading on a convenient wallet-size card, and answer health questions on medications, diet, and exercise. No appointment is needed. For more information, please call 860.653.5514.
