Friday East Granby Update: Power Outages And Services For Residents Without Power

As of 2:30 pm on Friday, the CL&P outage map shows 16 residences still without power. Our CL&P liaison has provided the following restoration information:

1. 11 residents are out on Hemlock and a transformer needs to be replaced. CL&P is sending a crew this afternoon to change out the transformer and reconnect down lines. Power should be restored sometime later this evening or by early Saturday morning.
2. 5 residents are out on Hatchet Hill Road. A repair truck will be there sometime later this afternoon and service should be restored between 6 pm this evening and 6 am tomorrow morning. If you have power and your neighbors don’t, please notify CL&P at 800-286-2000 on their behalf.

As of 8 a.m. this morning, the CL&P outage map shows 16 residences still without power. Ihave requested from CL&P a detailed list of all outages and an action plan listing the time of projected restoration.

The Senior/Community Center (20 Center St., East Granby, CT) is open today for water and as a charging & warming station.
