Big history is a high school course that tells the complete story of 13.7 billion years of history from the Big Bang to modernity, with a goal of revealing common themes and patterns that help students better understand people, civilizations, and our place in the Universe. Students are challenged to think big and to support challenge and extend their conjectures about why things are the way that they are.
As a celebration of the hard work and original thought that the students engaged in this year and as an opportunity for those outside the class to join in on the conversation and contemplation, we are asking that you join us for a night of intellectual discourse at the first ever GMHS Big History Conference.
