Granby Democratic Town Committee Hosting Listening Posts
Series part of the 'Leadership That Listens' campaign of the Granby Democratic Town Committee.

Do you want to share your thoughts on Granby with your future municipal leaders? If so, stop by one of the Democrat’s upcoming Listening Posts and share your thoughts, concerns and suggestions.
Jim Lofink, candidate for First Selectman of Granby, has announced that he is hosting a series of opportunities for townspeople to meet him and other candidates. Part of the ‘Leadership That Listens’ campaign of the Granby Democratic Town Committee (DTC), the Listening Posts will be held throughout October and provide townspeople with an easy and informal way to be heard.
“Granby benefits when all the best ideas, concerns and energies can be brought into the conversation” says Lofink. “We are willing to take time to make these opportunities available, and trust the people of Granby to engage with us in making Granby a better community.”
Listening Posts will be held at local venues including Lost Acres Vineyard and Peppermill Country Deli & Bakery. Come in and share a coffee, pastry or glass of wine while offering your thoughts. Listening Posts will be held throughout October:

- Wednesdays at Peppermill Country Deli & Bakery, 1-2pm
- Fridays at Lost Acres Vineyard, 4:30-5:30pm
Several Democratic candidates will be participating, including candidates for the Boards of Education and Finance and the Planning and Zoning Commissioners. Peggy Chapple, chair of the DTC says “We want to hear you, so we can better represent you.”
