Granby, East Granby Teams Qualify for State Tournaments

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT - With the high school spring sports regular season winding down, it is time to start thinking about state tournament competition in baseball, softball, boys and girls lacrosse and boys volleyball.

Four teams from Granby Memorial High School have clinched postseason spots. They are (with current record, rank and classification):

• boys lacrosse - 13-3, 4th, S
• softball - 17-2, 6th, M
• baseball - 13-7, 11th, M
• girls lacrosse - 8-7, 13th, S

Two teams from East Granby High School have clinched postseason spots:

• softball - 16-4, 4th, S
• baseball - 8-10, 28th, S
