At the beginning of this decade, Granby Memorial High School played its first varsity football season, posting an 0-10 record while being outscored 334-115.Five years later, after improving each subsequent season (2-8, 4-6, 6-5 and 7-4), the turnaround is complete. The Bears finished the 2015 regular season with a 10-0 mark, outscoring their opponents by a 361-86 margin.On Tuesday, Granby makes its first-ever appearance in the state football playoffs, hosting Seymour at 6:30 p.m.The Bears are 10-0 and seeded third in Class S.
