Granby Involved in State Tournament Action This Week

Boys basketball and boys ice hockey teams from around Connecticut begin state tournament competition this week, while the girls basketball tournaments continue with quarterfinal action.

Here is the schedule of games involving athletes from Granby Memorial High School:

Boys Basketball - Class M - first round
No. 25 Haddam-Killingworth at No. 8 Granby, Tuesday at 7 p.m., winner faces No. 9 Suffield or No. 24 St. Joseph on 3/10

Boys Ice Hockey - Division I - first round
No. 10 Suffield-Granby-Windsor Locks at No. 7 Notre Dame-Fairfield, Wednesday at 6 p.m., winner faces No. 2 Notre Dame-West Haven or No. 15 East Catholic on 3/12
