Granby Memorial Golfers Fall to Ellington
Bears lose for the first time this year, falling to the Knights 172-183.
The golf team lost for the first time this season Wednesday, falling to Ellington High 172-183 at Hopmeadow Country Club in Simsbury.
Ellington's Mike Thibodeau was the medalist with a 37. Jeff Bird shot a 43, Greg Ussery shot a 45, Jon McPartland shot a 47, and Kyle Gresh shot a 48 for the Knights.
For Granby, Andrew Ricci and Connor Brown each shot a 45, Scott Addley shot a 46, and Tyler Powers and Nick Mazzotta each shot 47.

Ellington (6-0, 4-0) hosts Stafford at on Monday. Granby (5-1, 3-1) hosts SMSA on Thursday.
