Granby Memorial High Marketing Management Class - Merchandise For Sale

Who would have guessed that at Granby Memorial High that there is a specific class for creating young entrepreneurs? It's a class dedicated to forming the business men and women of the future.

Teacher Sue Clark's Marketing Management teaches students everything from the 4 P’s of marketing (Product, Price, Place and Promotion), to actually creating a business. In this class of 23 students, everyone has a business partner and must create a product to manufacture, advertise, sell and distribute.

From ordering products, to making flyers, business cards, order forms, and websites, to promoting and selling our creations, this class is no easy task. The knowledge and experience we will receive goes a long way.

Here is a list of our companies and the products they are selling:

Beary Good Shorts is a unique athletic shorts company selling Granby shorts to everyone in the Granby community who wants to show their Granby pride. Our boys and girls shorts come in  2 colors , black and maroon.   A white paw print and the word BEARS are printed on the left thigh. These shorts can be worn around the house or working out.

KB Shades Co. was established to provide Granby residents with the opportunity to buy sunglasses not only for protection, but to help show school spirit wherever they go. Our sunglasses are a premium model that looks good on everyone.  This product has a design that utilizes a style made famous by open-road style explorers dated back to 1919. KB Shades has crucial UV400 protection, FDA approved impact resistant lenses, and a matte finish.

Sam an' Brooke Yoga Pants are making comfort cute. Sam an' Brooke is a play on words. It sounds like Salmon Brook, which is the street which our school is located on, and a popular park in town, which keeps our name true to the Granby spirit that we are promoting. The yoga pants are black and have Bears written on the back flap of the pants, with a paw print next to it, in gold ink. The pants are 96 percent cotton and 4 percent spandex. The sizes run from extra-small to large.

Bear Jerky is dehydrated food company that specializes in high quality beef jerky and a variety of dehydrated fruits. Beef jerky flavors include; Original, Peppered, Hickory, Sweet & Hot, Tangy Teriyaki, BBQ, Mesquite, Sweet & Sassy Molassy, Chipotle. Fruits include; bananas, apples, kiwi, pineapples, blueberries, strawberries, peaches, and mandarin oranges.

Duffel Bag Swag is a business established to provide Granby athletes, students, parents, and alumni high quality Granby duffel bags. They are maroon with “Granby Bears” embroidered on them. Each bag is 10” x 21” x 10” .
Ideal Lanyards provides lanyards to the Granby community as a way to express pride for our school and athletic teams. These lanyards are indeed "Not Your Standard Lanyard." They are maroon with gold lettering and currently available for Granby soccer and lacrosse.

Choco Rodz is to offering a unique snack that everyone enjoys, chocolate covered pretzels. We wanted to bring more variety in snack choices to GMHS students and staff. We offer bulk deals so that a lot of pretzels can be purchased together at a lower cost.

Beastie T-Shirts has created the latest and greatest GMHS T-Shirt designed by the students, for the students. Along the chest of the T-Shirt a graphic depicts an evolution chart ending with a bear, our school mascot. Under this picture reads "Unleash Your Inner Beast."

Bear Paw Bumper is a creative company that gives the citizens of Granby a chance to show their spirit! These bumper stickers feature two very neat designs, one with white and maroon colors and the other with maroon and gold colors. This product is very unique and is a great addition to your car, home or just to have as a keepsake. These stickers give you a new way to show your Granby spirit and support our town creatively.

Swag Co. created a senior t-shirt for the class of 2013. Put your swag on by ordering a t-shirt saying “Like A 13oss” (like a boss using the 13 as a B). The sizes are small, medium, large, extra-large. The colors represent maroon, gold and white.
