Granby Nurse Offended by "Naughty Nurse" Beer

What about the nurses too?

Granby resident Cora Ekwurtzel penned an op-ed in the Hartford Courant which comes fresh off the heels of the controversy surrounding New England Brewing Company’s Ghandi-Bot beer.

Ekwurtzel wrote that City Steam’s “Naughty Nurse” beer propagates unfair stereotypical images of nurses, who are in truth highly-educated professionals.

“Truth be told, that half-dressed, powder-puff, cartoon image clutching a glass of beer has nothing whatsoever to do with my profession. I think City Steam has co-opted nursing and I do not think the name was chosen to honor nurses,” she wrote.
