The Granby Rovers Girls U12 Team started their fall season by returning to compete in the 33rd Meg Berte Memorial Nutmeg Classic Annual Tournament hosted by the Manchester Soccer Club on September 7th and 8th. The Granby team competed against strong teams from Manchester, Glastonbury, Stratford and Farmington. Other teams within their division were Colchester, Tolland and West Hartford. The girls went undefeated in their four games without giving up a goal. They beat Farmington 2 - 0 in the championship game. This Granby team won the tournament last year for the U11 age group.
