Granby Sen. Kissel Testifies on Protecting Children from ID Theft

“I thank Todd for bringing this excellent idea to my attention,” Kissel said. “The proposal was well received by legislators, and they were particularly impressed that Todd, as a concerned parent, took the time to come to Hartford to testify in person. Other states have taken proactive steps to ensure that all parents have the ability to better protect their children from having their identities stolen. Connecticut parents should be able to have this ability as well.”

The legislation awaits a vote by the Banks Committee. The 2015 legislative session ends in June.
