
(West Hartford) – Three Granby residents have been named AP Scholars by the College Board – among the 42 students from Northwest Catholic to receive that honor. Abigail Reed ’13 and Catherine Sullivan ’13 of Granby were named AP Scholars with Honor, while Haley Derlinga ’13 of East Granby was named at AP Scholar with Distinction.
To be named an AP Scholar with Honor, students must earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all Advanced Placement Exams taken, and a score of 3 or higher on four or more of the exams. To be named an AP Scholar with Distinction, students must earn an average score of 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and a score of 3 or higher on five or more of the tests.
Since 1961, Northwest Catholic’s mission has been to educate the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul.
