Leader, Children & Youth Ministry

First Congregational Church, Granby, is searching for the Leader of its Children and Youth Ministry. The Church is seeking a person who will have overall responsibility to develop and implement a robust program of Christian formation and exploration for children and youth with support of the congregation. The Leader will create the place where children and youth feel safe to navigate their adolescence and explore the spiritual meaning of their lives. First Church hopes children and youth learn to see “God-stuff” in every aspect of life. This includes what G-Crew (First Church high school group) calls “God-Sightings,” those everyday events which catch our breath and give us pause. When children and youth eventually leave their First Church “home” and go out into the world beyond Granby, we want them prepared to be leaders and visionaries, at ease with themselves and treating others with compassion and respect.
