Granby Cub Scouts will have their annual Joining Night on Thursday, September 12th from 6:30–7:30 pm at Pilgrim Covenant Church in North Granby. Boys from 1st - 5th grade are invited to come with a parent or guardian to find out about all the adventures they can have through Scouting. Example activities include the Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, Model Rocket Launch, pack hikes, overnights, community leaf rake, food drives and many, many more.
Scouting is also a great way to make a lifelong connection with your boy because this is the time in his life where he is looking for adult leadership. It is the time when he wants to listen to you, be with you, and learn from you. Scouting offers a simple, fun, and structured way to make those connections. All this is done in a safe environment while practicing core values such as: respect, responsibility, honesty, perseverance, resourcefulness, and teamwork. Come see what Cub Scouts has to offer you.
