By The Good Life
It's been a long-standing tradition to dine at the Marchesi vineyard when we visit family in Italy. The food. The wine. The ambiance. The sense of TOGETHERNESS. It's really what living The Good Life is all about.
So we wanted to bring a taste of it to you. That's why on Saturday, November 9 at 9pm we're hosting a five-course wine dinner...featuring our traditional family recipes and wine from The Marchesi Vineyard.
First course...antipasto.
Enjoy charcuterie, Italian cheeses, grilled veggies, premium olives and Italian tastes paired with a Campari cocktail.
Second course...fennel salad.
Shaved fennel. Licorice-tasting accented by shaved parm and a simple rustic dressing and paired with Marchesi Gavi.
Third course....Risotto Milanese Coi Funghi Dal Bosco.
It's a traditional Northern Italian rice dish flavored with saffron, locally harvested wild mushrooms and imported parmigiano reggiano and paired with Marchesi Dolcetto D' Alba.
Four course...Brasato al Barolo.
It's a hearty beef dish braised in Barolo...from the wine country of Piemonte. It's paired with Marchesi Barbera "Maraia".
Finally, tiramisu for dessert (if you have room left!).
It's a signature Northern Italian dessert flavored by mascarpone and espresso and paired with Marchesi Moscato D'Asti.
The cost of the five-course dinner and drinks is only $60 per person...which covers a portion of our expenses. We wanted to share some incredible wine and food with our family from The Good Life Grill. Sometimes it's not about making money...it's about making memories.
