Part time cook needed

12-15 hours per week

A Better Chance is a national non-profit organization that provides academically talented minority students an opportunity to attend outstanding public and private schools in the United States. The ABC program in Simsbury offers 8 young men, each year, this opportunity through the Simsbury High School. These teenaged boys live in a house in the heart of Simsbury, with the support of a resident tutor , a resident director and a part time cook.

Specific responsibilities for the cook:
• Prepare Nutritious Menu
• Shop for ingredients and for supplies for the house
• Prepare dinner Monday –Friday afternoons from 3- 5 pm for 8-10 people at the ABC House in Simsbury.
Compensation is $12.00/hr.
